Xirdalan means Panther and Qara means strong. 50 cl. bottle. LIght brownish colour with short head. Light sweet caramel aroma and malty. Flavour is sweet, toasted malts, some bitterness. Sweet finish.

Good example how many different characters for dark beers are possible. Coffee black, creamy head , 6,2% alcohol ....nice stuff. I heard that it is not made out of roasted malt - that’s why it is so mild. Some may look for this ’roasty taste’ - I learnt that Azerbaijan population doens’t like bitter beers ...in this case this beer is best choise for bringing dark beer to Azerbaijan.

Bottled(500ml). -cola coloured, almost no head, slight sweet caramel nose, light coffee and sweet caramel aroma, sweet syruppy finish, quite tasteless and one-dimensional brew

Bottle-Thanks Ian for bringing this back from Baku!! This was pretty bland and sweet. Cheap malt (either rice or corn or something), brown sugar and slightly syruppy and sticky, and also a bit fizzy, didn’t taste like their was dark malt in here at all, its probably just cheap syruppy/sweet brown colouring.
