Pours light yellow with off white head. Stinks like a barnyard. Has less flavor than Bud Light (if that is possible). Very wattery thin mouthfeel, not much carbonation. Tastes like someone spilled some beer in my water. The most flavorless beer I have ever had.

Jul 9, 2008 21.63 oz bottle-Clear golden body with a small white covering for a head. Aroma of corn grains, and grass. Taste is of the same with a sweetness dryness on the back end. I’ve had worse.

Jun 29, 2008 Head thin back to mild cover,gold beer,nearly straw,carbonation is good.Aroma,hop grain,strong sweet smell like honey.Flavour good malt taste nice and hoppy,sweet grain taste has a good flavour,session ale,thirst quencher.Finish sweet enough,hoppy,full flavour.

May 29, 2008 A semi-educated guess and the number of ratings I will throw my 5% can rating here. 500ml can. Gold with big clean white head. A little musty, grassy, hint at vegetable. Drinkable. A little off vegetable at the end which you could get used if you were stuck in China. Reminds me a bit of rubber.

May 21, 2008 Bottle An irresponsible guess places this rating here. Bottle merely says "Yanjing Beer" and something about being the official state beer or something like that. I’m a little hesitant given the long trip from China to my house and the clear glass. I can see a bunch of floaties through the bottle. As I dump it in a glass there is a bit of a skunky aroma. Color is light gold with a quickly dying head. In addition to skunked beer, there are aromas of burnt rubber and malt. Flavor makes me proud of my country. If this was our official beer I’d consider emmigration. Swirling skunk, corn, and sweetness are so watered down that if it weren’t for the skunky taste, I’m not sure if there would be any. Don’t get me wrong... I think China is cool... I would love to visit... but I think I’ll pack in my own beverages.
