So I was drinking and realized I had a Chinese beer that needed to get drank, so here we go. Pale yellow, sustained white head. Faint off grain aroma, skeptical. Sweet, plain, clean. No need to go further. You may drink it if you wish, but I prefer to pour this away and look for another beer.

| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Sep 30, 2009 Closer to water and cheaper-tasting than many American macros. I’m not entirely sure that this is the right entry. The bottle only says Yanjing Beer without any other identifying information. The appearance is drab and lifeless. It’s a light yellow fizzy beer with a rapidly dissipating white head. The aroma is corny and sweet, perhaps a bit skunky. The flavor is similar. It’s watery and lacks much flavor besides a sweet, flat malt character. There’s a very light hop bitterness in the finish, but it really doesn’t add much. In my opinion, this beer is on par with a mediocre American light macro. There’s not much else to say about it. Bragesnak (2354), Aarhus, Denmark

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Jul 14, 2009 Bottle . A pale golden straw color body with a thin white head, light carbonation. Aroma is sweet , with a bit of hops coming through, a slight hint of skunk. Flavor is sweeter than expected and slightly metallic, a bit of floral hops , pretty bland really.Thin body with a rather flat mouthfeel for the style. Drinkable but nothing I will be buying again. | 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 4, 2009 Same colored than all Chinese ones, similar missing head. Aroma is as poor as in twenty earlier beers here, in body there is no difference. Flavor almost had something different, but I was wrong. Aftertaste is missing, as usual. 4 days to go.
