Bottle. Poured a dark brown color with a nice malt sweetness in the aroma. Taste is very drinkable and tasty. Very well balanced. I like this one.

Dec 18, 2009 12 ounce bottle. Pours a murky brown/red with a medium white head. The aroma is nutty sugary notes. A sweet flavor; lots of toasted malts, sugary sweet flavor and nuts. Sort of hot and strong. Decent. An odd mild ale.

Dec 17, 2009 12 oz. bottle that I received as part of a Christmas gift from my friend Paul. Pours a mostly clear reddish amber with a moderate off-white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left bits of lace. Mild but pleasant aroma of malt and just a bit of citrus. The flavor is predominantly malt with with some light bitterness at the finish. This is a nice problem-free beer that is very sessionable.

Dec 1, 2009 Shared beer club 12 oz. bottle. Poured a clear, amber/brown with a modest, light tan foam to the head, and spots of the clingy foam as lacing. The aroma was a pleasant, moderate caramel malt scent. The flavor added a bit of roastiness, a touch of sweetness, and light bitterness and finishing dryness. Underwhelming but decently sessionable.

Nov 26, 2009 Thanks to my nephew for this. Brown pour with notes of caramel malt. Bready taste with some brown sugar. Thin in body but easy to drink.

Nov 25, 2009 Pours a deep copper color. Small head. Aroma is of malt right away. Hops are not up front. Taste is very smooth and easy to drink. A very simple session beer, no bells or whistles here.

Nov 21, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear dark brown body with a one inch tight bubbled fizzy off-white head that left some minimal lacing. The nose is fairly light with a little fruitiness and lightly grainy malt. It almost has a weird grape soda like note that is a bit off-putting. The flavor is malty with some toasted and slightly husky grains. Finishes with some light yeast and that weird grape flavor that seems out of place. Light bodied and very easy drinking with moderate fizzy carbonation. Can’t get into this one all that much, but it is pretty easy drinking.
