Yarpivo Krepkoe (Strong)

(bottle - 500 ml) Pale gold color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is sour and dry with hints of grass and stale hops. Flavor is much the same. Sweet and sour with some strong hints of corn, straw, metal, and grass. Alcohol is very prevalent.

The aroma is corn, spicy aroma from grass, hops, sugary. The appearance is a pale yellow, white head. The flavor follows the aroma, sweet, corn, slight booze, hops. The finish is like noble hops, and a slight alcohol burn. The mouhfeel is medium. Drinkable, but not remarkable at all.

A light golden appearance with a white head. The aroma contains some corn, sugar, and bread notes. The flavor oddly has alot of fruity flavor, generic like eating a handful of Fruit Loops. Some honey and corn present as well. Thus far this is like liquid kids cereal. The alcohol shows through a little bit but not much. I’m actually kind of impressed.

Bottle. Redirected from Yarpivo Extra Lager. It tastes like a double Pabst Blue Ribbon. Yellow. Thin body. Not great.

What a crappy beer. Dark yellow with no head. The smell reminds me of when I was in 8th grade and we dissected minks in science class. Thin bodied, tastes like sour, liquified plastic. Just like formeldahyde. Pure shit. I’d rather drink ball sweat from a baboon. Aftertaste of pure alcohol was the high point with this one.

Big yarpivo! Massive 16.9 oz brown russian bottle. Yeasty aroma but some alarming volatility. Picturesque sparkling pale yellow appearing lager. Cheap american malt liquor yet, seems to be hoppy at times. quite rude malt liquor, tho considered a euro-strongy. Dizzying towards the end of the bottle Knock yer socks off. Coarse lager high gravity finish. Does not hide alky very well. not sure what I see in this, it’s a lttle interesting at times.

Blah. This style is either palatable or terrible. This falls below terrible. Weak aroma of pale malt and sugar. Pour was a thick flat medium to light gold with no head. Taste was syrupy sweet. Mostly pale malt with a sticky sugary aftertaste. I would think this was an American malt liquor in a blind taste test.
