Aug 10, 2005 Very pale gold with a slight aroma of flowery hops. Taste is slightly sweet, grainy with a distinct note of alcohol and some corn. Sort of a ramped up cheap American beer. But it was clean and quenching & not that bad.

(Call it a "European Strong Lager" if you will, but in the U.S. the brews in this category would be produced in 40-ounce bottles.) Golden in color with a creamy white head that vanishes immediately, it’s got a light grassy maltiness with some equally light floral hopping. Good carbonation. The flavor echoes the aroma. Dec 4, 2004 Head is initially average sized, fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, cereal), lightly hoppy (flowers, herbs), with notes of DMS, apple, alcohol. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, slightly husky, slightly unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic. You can do worse, but why would you want to do this bad? Oh right, for the sake of science.
