| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 3, 2005 Cloudy gold color with no head. Sweet alcohol aroma with a little grain. The alcohol turns horribly sour in the taste, followed up by some wheat. I would have expected more burn from an ice beer, but not tasty at all. frankenkitty (1903), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 20, 2005 Golden with a white, fading head and soft carbonation. Some milkiness to the aroma of grainy malts and metal. Some latent scent reminds me of a vacuum cleaner. Malts come out more in the flavor, rather sweet and waxy... reminds me of those little wax-bottle candies of yesteryear. A touch of grassy hop to finish. Alcohol late. My numbers above feel accurate, but I can’t understand why the total score ends up so high. This really isn’t that good...

This is a pale yellow lager with an initially pillowy head that has a sweet grassy aroma. Soft in the mouth, the flavor is pretty much light, sweet malt with very little hop bitterness. Not much here.

| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Dec 23, 2004 Why do I keep trying these, when I know I’m going to hate them? No matter, I can’t stop myself. Bring me a funky label from halfway around the world, and I will buy it just because I haven’t seen it before. Even when I know it will suck. Very light yellow, fizzy, little head faded rapidly. Grainy aroma. Virtually no taste, which probably isn’t an all bad thing here. Just the faintest sweetness and a suggestion of bitterness. Not repugnant, but not good. They really went out of their way to mask any and all flavors. For this, with this beer, the brewers should be thanked. | 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | May 26, 2004 Bleh. This had some right foul notes in the aroma at first, and then it went straw-y. Very very pale yellow. Functional label, decent homebrew bottle. Light sweetness, acidic, some stray notes of malt. Nasty cardboard and lemon notes in the aftertaste. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 26, 2004 Bit of a funky, wet sock aroma to it, but not noxious. Light, white wine color, thin white head. Typical lager flavor with a bit more of a zesty hop to it. Tastes kind of like a "light" malt liquor. Has some sweet honey accents to it. Little bit of a thin mouthfeel. All in all, better than expected though.
