The aroma contains notes of straw and brewing cereal. The flavor is sweet yet sourness from the use of brewing cereal lingers in the background, leading to a very dry end with a strong note of hay combined with a slight bitterness. My guess was that there was corn in this beer, but the label tells me, that the brewing cereal used is rice. Papsoe (14996), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Nov 21, 2006 (Can 50 cl) Clear, pale, pilsener golden with a small, white head. Aroma of brewing cereal (rice) and malt. Medium-bodied, lightly tart notes from the brewing cereal - and then really nothing much more. Overly carbonated. 161106 Hildigöltur (5109), København, Denmark

This is a pale yellow lager with an initially pillowy head that has a sweet grassy aroma. Soft in the mouth, the flavor is pretty much light, sweet malt with very little hop bitterness. Not much here.

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 11, 2004 Straw color with a huge off white head that dissipates to a fluffy big batch of bubbles. Light malt and mild hops aroma. Very fizzy feel. Somewhat devoid of flavor. Some hints of grain and a light cane sweetness. Hints of malt in the finish. This would be a decent quencher in the summer. badgerben (3600), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 3, 2005 Cloudy gold color with no head. Sweet alcohol aroma with a little grain. The alcohol turns horribly sour in the taste, followed up by some wheat. I would have expected more burn from an ice beer, but not tasty at all. PorterPounder (3138), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 26, 2004 Bit of a funky, wet sock aroma to it, but not noxious. Light, white wine color, thin white head. Typical lager flavor with a bit more of a zesty hop to it. Tastes kind of like a "light" malt liquor. Has some sweet honey accents to it. Little bit of a thin mouthfeel. All in all, better than expected though. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 22, 2003 A lighter brew than their Strong beer, and much drier. My chief complaint is that it's a touch alcoholic in taste, though at 5%, it shouldn't be. Not a tasty brew, and there's little malt to enjoy. Tastes of grain, as well.
