| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 27, 2007 Pours a hazy straw color with 1/2" of white foam and briefly fizzy carbonation. No head retention, no lacing. Mild skunkiness and some citrus in the aroma.
Odd, the flavor is nothing like the aroma - no skunk at all, no citrus, little hoppiness. Instead, it has an initial and very brief wheat tang. Then its gone. Completely. This is replaced by a sweetness, tasting a little of honey and a lot of amber candi sugar. It is quite sweet, but shy of being cloying. A small hop presence makes itself known in the finish.
Almost medium body, and surprisingly on the flat side. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 22, 2003 A lighter brew than their Strong beer, and much drier. My chief complaint is that it's a touch alcoholic in taste, though at 5%, it shouldn't be. Not a tasty brew, and there's little malt to enjoy. Tastes of grain, as well. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Jun 18, 2003 Small head which does not last long. Good carbonation. Initial aroma very acidic (tomatoes) then mellows out to a clean malty aroma. Color of a typical light european lager. Flavor is thin but very smooth and refreshing with mainly malt. Goes down way to easy and finishes clean with very little aftertaste. Can't find this beer on the site anywhere so I guess that I am the first. WOOHOO!!!

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 11, 2004 Straw color with a huge off white head that dissipates to a fluffy big batch of bubbles. Light malt and mild hops aroma. Very fizzy feel. Somewhat devoid of flavor. Some hints of grain and a light cane sweetness. Hints of malt in the finish. This would be a decent quencher in the summer.
