Just stale sticky light malt very faint. Pour was a nasty bubble-less headless light gold. Taste was very stale and bland. Sticky light malt and corn/vegetables in the front with a sticky filmy aftertaste. Double blah. Beerman6686 (1287), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Sweetish aroma with some grain and malt along with some honey and musty notes. The taste is slightly sweet but also a bit gassy. Well there is something odd about it at least. There are some honey notes and it is quite refreshing but I am a little disappointed. I was expecting something different after reading the amber description on the label. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Aromas of syrup and eggs. kind of wierd. A little watery as well. Not exactly something I would care to taste again. argo0 (6907), Washington DC, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jan 24, 2008 (50cl bottle) Medium white head atop crystal clear pale straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, bread/corn, faint grassy/earthy. Taste is medium sweet, corn/grain, herbal/grassy, some metallic, fruit syrup. Watery light body, light crispness. Loses a point in appearance for calling itself "amber." omhper (12232), Stockholm, Sweden

Appearance :Colour of late sun , clear with medium fizzy top. Ring of lace shown. Nose :Sweet pale malt nose , grainy with some grassy citric hops on side. Flavour/Palate : Medium bodied, fairly low carbonation for Eastern European lager, semi sticky pale malt with light mineral metallic finish. Late wet leaf touch of hops. Fairly clean and straightforward with out abrasive carbonation or soulless flatness. Half decent.

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 15, 2007 Bottle from Topp’s. Pours a clear golden with no head. Aroma is of sweet dough, not very strong. Medium in body, low carbonation. Flavor is somewhat sugary, lightly of tangerine, hints of acidity at times, and very faintly bitter. Finish is somewhat sour, papery, and has hint of hops. There isn’t anything in here that is bad or foul, making it drinkable. On the other hand it isn’t great either, being overly watery and sugary. Doing better than others on my eastern bloc beer spree.
