Bottle from Topp’s. Pours a clear golden with no head. Aroma is of sweet dough, not very strong. Medium in body, low carbonation. Flavor is somewhat sugary, lightly of tangerine, hints of acidity at times, and very faintly bitter. Finish is somewhat sour, papery, and has hint of hops. There isn’t anything in here that is bad or foul, making it drinkable. On the other hand it isn’t great either, being overly watery and sugary. Doing better than others on my eastern bloc beer spree.

A drinkable beer, as far as Russians tend to go. Not really much amber presence. Super filtered, light and golden. Still suffers from the typical sugary taste of inexpensive eastern European beers, but has a just enough hop and malt character to escape the bottom of the barrel.

Plastic bottle 1 ltr (BB 11/2007)
My 500th pale lager! Golden color, small white head. Unclean fruity (apple) aroma (bottle says that "hoppy aroma" - oh yeah). Tasting mostly apples, water and plastic bottle.

Can. Clear, golden with a small white head. Weak, malty aroma with some sweetness and grassy hops. Fruity flavor with some caramel and hay. Medium body and a sweet finish with notes of alcohol. Calling it amber is a little lie. (070404)

A slightly dark gold colored body with a little haze and an egshell colored head on top. The aroma has some light notes of pears and greens. The taste is honey along with some notes of raw potatoes. There is also some catlope meon rind in the finish. A strangely fruity tasting light lager.

(on bottle thanx Ungstrup)Flat, pale yellow, funny name for this beer; almost like "New Stot".Sweet, mashy sent, actually quite delice. Nogen plum, with the fresh barley taste; again, quite nice. Light bitter finish.
