| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 28, 2006 A light yellow beer with a lazing off-white head - I wonder how a light yellow pale lager can be named "amber"? Both the aroma and flavor are sweet malty with strong notes of brewmash, leading to a dusty end. joergen (8638), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 9, 2005 (Plastic bottle 100 cl) Pilsener golden - not much amber here - pretty much without any head. Lightly hoppy nose. Light-bodied and dry, dominated by bittering hops and a weak cardboardish touch. Drinkable though. 091205 HermanW (631), Coevorden, Netherlands

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Oct 24, 2005 Pale yellow with a foamy white head and moderate effervescence (I took back an appearance point because Ambers should be a wee bit darker). Lightly floral perfume over grain and baby powder. Flavor starts and ends cane sugar-sweet, with an "off", adjuncty flavor in the middle. Hint of bitterness shows at the end. Thin. Not much to look at... or smell... or, anything, really.

It doesn’t get much more of a pale yellow than this without being water. It does sport a soft white head and has excellent, continual beading. The scent is very light and grassy. There’s little flavor, a hint of malt sweetness, and a slight hop bitterness on the finish.

| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Mar 6, 2005 Amber? I do not think that word means what you think it means. Light yellow, fizzy, not much head either. Sweet, slightly corny aroma, faintest floral hint. Flavor is like grits with some sugar accidentally tossed in there. Not a good beer.
