Aroma is lightly malty (grain, cereal), lightly hoppy (flowers, herbs), with a light note of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, slightly unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Pretty much identical to the Elitnoe and Originalnoe. Sweet thin malts, lots of sugar, cooked vegetables, and even a little butterscotch for an added bonus! I was going to say that the palate was a little thin, but it’s actually gotten worse - it’s got the feel of granulated sugar in it too. Perfect beer for Swill’n’Chill in the chatroom JPDIPSO (4926), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 17, 2004 Yellow straw color with a quickly dissiapating milk white head. Malt and grain aromas. Perhaps a touch of floral hops mingle with the grain sweetness. Lots of hops bitterness in this one. To bad it does not mesh with the malt/grain sweetness. By sweetness, I mean that you can taste the sweetness and the thickness from it by the favor components of the malt are not there. Spritzy yet sticky in feel.
