Nice straw color, small white head that had a nice long hang time. The aroma was Malty sweet aroma with maybe a hint of fruit and caramel. The taste was Quite good with a flavor of sweet malt fruit and mild hops maybe a hint of corn but it's quite hard to detect. Its a very thirst quenching brew that kind of makes you want another.Well worth trying and IMO one of the finer tasting brews that i've found from this country.

Golden yellow with a bubly white head. Slightly skunky smell. I was surprised. This was actually a pretty good beer and it only cost $2.39 at the neighborhood specialty liquor store. It almost tasted like a very light pilsner.

After suffering through Yarpivo's Strong, Ice, Dark and Premium, I suspected they had a style for me and this is it. I have no idea what Yantarnoye means (tasty? refreshing?) but this lager stands head and shoulders above Yarpivo's other dreck, er... output. Yes, the alcohol shows through even thought it's only 5.3%. Yes, the head retention is lacking, but cut them some slack - they're Russian. This is, after all, a flavorful, sweet caramel malty lager with some herbal notes.

Contains rice. Color is amber, as its name suggests. Light thin head. Aroma of caramel and fruits (apricots?). Malty taste with light bitterness. Easy drinkable standard lager.

Bottle 500 ml
Appearance :Colour of late sun , clear with medium fizzy top. Ring of lace shown.
Nose :Sweet pale malt nose , grainy with some grassy citric hops on side.
Flavour/Palate : Medium bodied, fairly low carbonation for Eastern European lager, semi sticky pale malt with light mineral metallic finish. Late wet leaf touch of hops. Fairly clean and straightforward with out abrasive carbonation or soulless flatness. Half decent.

Malt, licorice aroma. Tinny golden ale flavor. Light hopping, sweetish and somewhat tart. Finings-type gel mouthfeel. Very clear gold, seafoam head. Medium short finish. 'Yantarnoye' apparently means 'amber' but this is just plain lager colored.
