Dark caramel color with small, fading tan head. Aroma is caramel, nuts, and toasty grain with light background earthiness. Medium to light body with fine eff. Rich, malty flavors, light coffee notes, bready, a bit of a cereal lingering aftertaste but otherwise finishes dry and mostly quenching. Decent enough--this seems to be a pretty reliable brewery based on the three beers I’ve had. unclemattie (2427), Georgia, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 8, 2009 Reddish-brown with a tan head. Nutty, roasted malts abound. Similar to an English brown ale.
