andyhite (276), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA Aug 25, 2008 draft via growler. The nose is a bit muted, but the aroma tells me it’s the standard british pub ale. slightly hoppy, but nothing really jumps out at me. The finish is fairly short, but leaves a nice flavor on my palate. I would like to try pairing with food, as it may accentuate the tones and flavors of the brew. nonetheless, this is really easy to drink and would be a great poker beer. puggy211 (317), cordova, Tennessee, USA Oct 24, 2007 tap at mellow mushroom in franklin tn.light copper color, hoppy nose, malty up front, slight bitter finish white head, smooth easy drinking beer. ColonelCash (9), USA does not count Aug 26, 2007 Draught at Yazoo Taproom (Nashville TN) - Got a mixed feeling about this beer, had it out in town and it was spectacular. During my last trip to the Yazoo taproom I got a growler of this and it was undrinkable, had a buttery like flavor and taste of cashews. I think the growler they gave me was bad? Would be willing to try again, but will test before buying another 64oz. illinismitty (1407), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Jul 20, 2007 Draft at Broadway Brewhouse. The first time I had this, it was from a keg that was past its prime. This draft was in better shape. Pours dark amber with a wisp of a head. Medium bodied with a light texture. Faint British malt and ale yeast aroma. Initial flavor of caramel and toffee that transitions notes of bread and wet grains. Mild bitterness on the finish. VTHopHead (670), Barre, Vermont, USA May 27, 2007 Draft - Poured a darkish amber with a small off-white head. Aroma was malty with a very faint hint of hops. Flavor was malty with caramel and bread dough mixed in with some nicely balancing hop bitterness. Definitely improved as it warmed up. I liked it...
