Mellow grains mix well with some fruity undertones that lead into a nice fresh, hoppy (pine and grapefruit) finish. Not bad at all! Tasted at tge 2005 Music City Brewer’s Feat. Deep copper color, decent head.
Dry malt aroma.
The flavor is well balanced with restrained sweetness and bitterness that matches. Lightly fruity and clean. KDorgan12 (169), Memphis, Tennessee, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 3, 2006 A pleasant surprise to find on tap in Nashville at a bar/resturant (Past Perfect). An orange amber pour with a thick guey lacing. A tad of malt flavor with just a bit of bitter. Just a tad active carbonation for me and a bit thin. I thought a very good example of the style. The first time I had this, it was from a keg that was past its prime. This draft was in better shape. Pours dark amber with a wisp of a head. Medium bodied with a light texture. Faint British malt and ale yeast aroma. Initial flavor of caramel and toffee that transitions notes of bread and wet grains. Mild bitterness on the finish.
