Pours a dingy light gold with a little bit of a fizzy head and aromas of lemon, grass and cloves. There seems to be a little bit of bubble gum in there, too. Flavor is not quite as nice as the aroma, but isn’t bad. A lot of cloves and lemon with an underlying sweetness and a little bit of sour. It’s almost a little sticky across the palate and has some odd tanginess to it that I can’t quite decide on... whether it is a little old or whether it’s intentional. Either way, it’s a decent beer, but not something I’d seek out again. phaleslu (557), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Pours cloudy gold with a medium white head that diminishes quickly and leaves only a little behind. Very straightforward, well-executed hefeweizen, with the banana, wheat, yeast, clove, and citrus aroma and flavor. Medium bodied, citrus zest, and wheaty smoothness. Good example of the style. jbye4334 (710), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Not really my favorite style but I’ll give credit where it is due. Its a nice beer. Pours a hazy yellow with a nice white head. It has more banana than the clove. Nice dry finish. A good one on a hot day. GAManiac (1190), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Pours clear yellow with a small soapy white head that dissipates almost immediately and leaves no lacing.
The aroma is heavy on the tart lemons with a subtle underlying sweet banana and bubble gum sweetness. Sweet malt and yeast make up the rest. Not much spiciness that I could tell.
The taste also starts with a tart lemon zing which gives way to a very modest hefe base with some ripe bananas and cotton candy. The finish is very dry and slightly tart.
The mouthfeel is highly carbonated and drier and a bit more tart than most hefes.
This is a solid beer but not one my favorite hefes. It’s a little more tart than I’d prefer with a bit more sweetness. Still, not bad. decaturstevo (2007), decatur, Tennessee, USA
