| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 1, 2009 Sampled at the brewery. Lightly hazed pale yellow with good true white head. Nose is lemon citrus. Flavor is tart citrus and yeast. Tart dry finish. Perfectly average hefe. I was surprised that they added lemon slices to the drafts despite being a *german* style. jcwattsrugger (5563), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

My bottle was poured into a Wiezen glass it looked real nice three fingers worth of white head that goes to a thick lace. The body was a hazy yellow in color interrupted by a bubble or two coming from the bottom of the glass
Aromas of citrus’ bubblegum and wheat with a slight sourness as well filled my nose
Flavors of citrus and spices and there is that sourness again it kind of works with this brew .This brew is light and crisp in the mouth.
Good drinkability as well although I haven’t had too many I wouldn’t drink again. You could kickback a few of these real easy like. A good try at a Hefe not my favorite but not the worst either

Pours with a clear golden body topped by a thick, quickly disappearing head with some lacing. It’s yeasty and wheaty with a hint of clove and a light sweetness. Light bodied and dry. durhambeer (1222), Durham, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 25, 2008 Sample at Brewgrass. Bright yellow hazy pour with slightly golden tint. Bubbly white head. I seem to not like this beer as much as others, but maybe the coriander was rubbing me the wrong way that day; I was hard on the hefes and wits all day long. Citrus and some spice with a tad of banana. Overall, I thought it was simply too spicy and not as bready/yeasty as I like. Not bad. unclemattie (2431), Georgia, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 2, 2008 Any guesses on where I was this weekend? That’s right, Nashville baby and this is another smuggle back from there. Decent enough spicy aroma. Nice body with a smooth creamy texture. Finish is a little fizzy and carbonated. Some citrus fruit flavors as well as some banana. Very true to style and a pretty good example for a straight up hefe. Not a lot of individuality but well balanced and tasty. Pours clear yellow color with a minimal white head and zero lacing.
