cloudy yellow, great sweet banana aroma and flavor, all banana all day every day with only a hint of clove, great on a hot summer afternoon but needs more to be special,

Easy to drink, throw in an orange slice while sitting in the shade on a warm summer day. Now in bottles, but may have slightly different flavor than draught. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 26, 2007 A cloudy yellow appearance with a moderate head. The aroma consists of bananas, cloves, bubblegum, and some bread. The flavor is heavy on the banana flavors with a bubblegum and dough presence. The aftertaste is slightly sour. For a style I dont normally like, I must say this was a well crafted beer! rsteagall (1), USA does not count | 5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Jul 23, 2007 Updated: Oct 23, 2007Best Hefe I’ve had to date. Perfect balance of clove/banana. Looks and smells great. Every time I drink this, the first one just gets chugged because it tastes so good. I then slow down and enjoy it a lot more on the next 8 pints. :)
They are supposed to be bottling this SOON!!! :) pintocb (510), Darsville, Georgia, USA

The flavor is really great with a sweetness that I can only describe as candy circus peanuts. biznizness (937), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA

Nose is rich with banana and left a citrusy sweetness on the tongue. I typically don’t like the hefe with lemon but it fell in the glass when the waitress brought it. NO TIP FOR YOU!
