Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Lots of clove and banana in the aroma with a citrus background. The flavor finds banana, clove, light citrus, and hints of yeast. Light body and a smooth texture. Very nice local hefe! This will be a regular in my frig during the summer. (Rating from Sept ’07)

Sep 2, 2008 Any guesses on where I was this weekend? That’s right, Nashville baby and this is another smuggle back from there. Decent enough spicy aroma. Nice body with a smooth creamy texture. Finish is a little fizzy and carbonated. Some citrus fruit flavors as well as some banana. Very true to style and a pretty good example for a straight up hefe. Not a lot of individuality but well balanced and tasty. Pours clear yellow color with a minimal white head and zero lacing.

Aug 28, 2008 On tap at the taproom. Poured a hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of wheat and bananas. Flavor reflects the aroma. Great summer beer. I’m not as big of a fan of this out of the bottle as on tap, but definately good both ways.

does not count  Jun 15, 2008 Bananas and wheat aroma. Beautiful lemon color with a head a little on the slight side. Refreshing beer for a summer afternoon. palate taste of bananas, clove ending in lemon and wheat. nice combo! I am a fan!

May 26, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy yellow pour with thin white head. Aroma of wheat and yeast with some oranges and spices present. Taste of yeast, bananas and citrus. Good summer offering.

May 26, 2008 Beautiful, cloudy, golden wheat appearance with little aroma but a very Bavarian, gently effervescent beer with a crisp palate and lingering aftertaste. Overall impression is quite positive, as it mimics the German brewmasters.
