Perfect balance of clove/banana. Looks and smells great. Every time I drink this, the first one just gets chugged because it tastes so good. I then slow down and enjoy it a lot more on the next 8 pints. :)
They are supposed to be bottling this SOON!!! :) Beersnob77 (8), Mount Juliet, Tennessee, USA does not count | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 10, 2006 This is one of my favorite Hefeweizens so I enjoy it frequently in warm weather. The citrus and coriander flavorings add to the flavor, especially the finish, and they make it completely unneccesary to "hang fruit" (lemon) on the side of the glass. First pours are slightly cloudy, becoming a pleasant clear light amber with minimal residue. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA

The aroma consists of bananas, cloves, bubblegum, and some bread. The flavor is heavy on the banana flavors with a bubblegum and dough presence. The aftertaste is slightly sour. For a style I dont normally like, I must say this was a well crafted beer! StewardofGondor (1934), Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Cloudy, dull, pale yellow color with a creamy white layer engulfing the head. Delicious aroma - strong, forceful clove and pepper phenols amidst a promising fried banana and vanilla crème motif. Some orange and vanilla-lemon accents fill in the rest, and I’ll be damned if Yazoo didn’t just about nail it. Creamy, lighter fairing flavor and mouth feel aided by a fanciful lemon-banana combo. So even-going that it could be mistaken for a smoothie. Easily disperses across the palate with a banana-graham crème wonderment. Has the effervescence, but backs off to allow the flavor to evolve to banana syrup over Italian ice. Touch of sprits and vanilla cream hang around for the finish. Lovely, excellent rendition. sigx97 (12), USA

I agree with the previous post that this beer does need to be bottled. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA

Pours out a real cloudy yellow color with a white head that vanishes quickly. Smell is heavy on bananas and orange peel. Taste has a nice smooth mouth feel and finish with a little tartness. Really good stuff actually. One of the best examples of a hefe from an American brewery. I would drink this on a regular basis if I lived in Nashville. Thanks Sean, but stop asking if you can felch me, I am not into that kind of stuff.
