First of all..THEY NEED TO BOTTLE THIS! I could drink this anytime of the year. Tastes are very equal between clove and banannas.

Bottle. Pours a dingy light gold with a little bit of a fizzy head and aromas of lemon, grass and cloves. There seems to be a little bit of bubble gum in there, too. Flavor is not quite as nice as the aroma, but isn’t bad. A lot of cloves and lemon with an underlying sweetness and a little bit of sour. It’s almost a little sticky across the palate and has some odd tanginess to it that I can’t quite decide on... whether it is a little old or whether it’s intentional. Either way, it’s a decent beer, but not something I’d seek out again.

Draft at the brewery, part of a sampler. Girlfriend ordered a whole pint of this one. Pours cloudy gold with a medium white head that diminishes quickly and leaves only a little behind. Very straightforward, well-executed hefeweizen, with the banana, wheat, yeast, clove, and citrus aroma and flavor. Medium bodied, citrus zest, and wheaty smoothness. Good example of the style.

Pours cloudy yellow with a foamy short-lived white head. Aroma is tart yeast, wheat, and gum. Taste is yeast, banana, wheat, pretty crisp. Lively carbonation and a finish with yeast and wheat tartness.

Tasted on 9/5/09 at the Yazoo tap room in a sampler along with other Yazoo beers. Not really my favorite style but I’ll give credit where it is due. Its a nice beer. Pours a hazy yellow with a nice white head. It has more banana than the clove. Nice dry finish. A good one on a hot day.

Bottle shared by Lee at the Brick Store. Pours clear yellow with a small soapy white head that dissipates almost immediately and leaves no lacing. The aroma is heavy on the tart lemons with a subtle underlying sweet banana and bubble gum sweetness. Sweet malt and yeast make up the rest. Not much spiciness that I could tell. The taste also starts with a tart lemon zing which gives way to a very modest hefe base with some ripe bananas and cotton candy. The finish is very dry and slightly tart. The mouthfeel is highly carbonated and drier and a bit more tart than most hefes. This is a solid beer but not one my favorite hefes. It’s a little more tart than I’d prefer with a bit more sweetness. Still, not bad.

Cloudy yellow pour with a creamy white head and lace. Coriander and ripe banana on the nose. Slight clove with a pretty nice lingering sweet after taste. Aggresive carbonation and decent mouthfeel. A solid hefe

12oz my brother grabbed me in Nashville. Pours golden with a tan head. Nose is sweet with touches of bananas and spice. Taste is sweet light and all in all a pretty tasty Hefe. Yum.
