lithy (1600), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jul 28, 2009 Clear light amber with a sticky off white foam. Aroma is big spice and pine resin hops, some toasted malt, caramel. The body feels a bit thin. Taste is a metallic caramel note, then a lightly bitter finish of pine and spicy hops. A bit disappointing compared to some past Hop Projects. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Jul 25, 2009 Source:Tap at the brewery.
Glass:Pint.
Appearance:Poured a hazy amber color with a thin off white head.
Aroma:Citrus dominates with a hint of caramel. Maybe a slight resinous note.
Flavor:Back to the good ole days. Citrus and caramel with a solid, clean bitter finish.
Palate:Medium body with solid carbonation.
Overall:After the 13-16 experiments really bombed, this was a nice change. Much more crisp and clean, without the astringent bitter finish of the past few.
