| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 26, 2009 Growler at the ’09 Fish Fry. Pours gold with sticky white head. The aroma is hoppy and rather floral. The flavor is nice floral hops with a rather assertive bitterness. There’s a strange cucumber note in there that is, erm, interesting. There’s a little bit of yeasty bread in the background. Pretty decent. Suttree (2743), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 26, 2009 From a growler at Springslicker - I can’t remember who brought it. Reddish brown, thin white head. Smells very grapefruity, which also dominates the flavor. Nice earthy background notes. Good brew. MmmcKay (289), Brentwood, Tennessee, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 24, 2009 Nice copper color with a touch of orange. Plenty of citrus all over this beer on the nose and in flavor. Love the orange peel especially. Definitely bitter the way I like it. Solid brew. I like it better than the standard yazoo pale. Also the best of the Yazoo Hop Projects thus far. Best brew made in TN that I’ve tried recently. Butters (1652), Virginia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 15, 2009 Draft at woody’s and at BeerHawk’s Beer Gods in the Boro, aka 1000 Bottles of Beer on the Wall, By God Beer God Gathering, BG1K Tasting. Pours a murky orange color with fair tan head and lacing. Sweet, resiny, citrusy, floral, pine, hop aroma is damn good. A lot of that is translated into the flavor, but it is just a hair less impressive than the aroma. Lingering bitter finish is a little much for my personal taste. But a damn fine beer. If this gets enough ratings, I’d say this might be the best beer produced from Tennessee! At any rate, it’s definitely superior to #13. I wish this had been the one that got the privilege of the first hop project to be bottled in the brewmaster packs. Alas...
