This poured a orange color with an orange and perfume aroma. The flavor is rather tame with some slight bitterness and some oranges and lemons. This one is really missing the hop bite I like in an IPA but the flavor is nice. Overall decent session stuff. vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 25, 2009 Sampled at Schlafly Repeal of Prohibition festival. Pours golden / amber with a small off-white head. The aroma has grapefruit / tropical fruits, light onion and sweet caramel malt to balance. Medium prickly body with micro carbonation. The flavor starts drier than the aroma with rind of grapfruit, woody hops and solid malt. Well balanced tasty IPA. jrob21 (1275), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 24, 2009 It takes a little detective work to figure out which version you are drinking but check the bottling date and the yazoo blog and you should be able to figure it out. Dark orange color with some good lacing. A nice and subtle bubblegum sort of aroma with a little bit of pine in there as well. What you get varies by whiff. Decent malt profile with some caramel sweetness. Sticky pine flavor and a bitter grapefruit hop finish. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

Slightly hazy deep reddish orange with a tall lasting off-white head.
Aroma of fresh grapefruit.
The flavor has a bitterness that build all the way to the finish with a firm malt support.
I really liked this one.

Poured a hazy orange with a creamy off-white head that had some lasting and light lace. Nice hop aromas of citrus and floral. The flavor was very well balanced with a caramel and floral and pine hops. Medium body, fizzy carbination, and a medium botterness throughout. Strykzone (1494), Wood River, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 18, 2009 Amber gold with a nice light tan head. Big tart citrus aroma. Flavor to match. So well hopped! Caramel doesn’t come close to balancing the hops. Very nice! Bitter tart aftertaste. A big and bold beer. Well done. knights97 (83), Tennessee, USA
