Commercial Description:
As with the first twelve Hop Projects, we used a different blend of hops for this one. For all you hop enthusiasts out there, the hops we used were: Galena and First Gold for first wort bittering; Cascade, Apollo, and First Gold at thirty minutes for flavor; Simcoe and Amarillo at five minutes left for aroma; and finally, we dry hopped the beer at day four of fermentation with Galena and Cascade.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with an average, frothy, white head, somewhat diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (cookie, meal, caramel), heavy hop (flowers, citrus, pine), average yeast (dough) with notes of pear and green apple. Medium bodied, gritty texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, light sweetness, heavy acidity and bitterness.

Clear golden copper, nice fluffy head. Nice aroma - grapefruit like #12, but more spicy, too. Flavor is mostly grapefrui and pine, with dry, crisp finish.

Pours with an amber orange body topped by a thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s slightly sweet and malty with nice citrusy hop notes as well as light fruit notes. Medium bodied, smooth and a touch warming.

Sampled at Schlafly Repeal of Prohibition festival. Pours golden / amber with a small off-white head. The aroma has grapefruit / tropical fruits, light onion and sweet caramel malt to balance. Medium prickly body with micro carbonation. The flavor starts drier than the aroma with rind of grapfruit, woody hops and solid malt. Well balanced tasty IPA.

Thanks to Butters for this bottle. Slightly hazy deep reddish orange with a tall lasting off-white head. Aroma of fresh grapefruit. The flavor has a bitterness that build all the way to the finish with a firm malt support. I really liked this one.

Copper pour with off white head and lace. Evergreen, bread, and apple on the nose. Semi sweet malt with excellent resiny bitter. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Very nice beer.
