Pours a slightly hazy orange amber with foamy eggshell head and sticky lacing. Sweet green piney citrus hops. Flavor is similar, but with an extemely bitter finish. Very good IPA, but not the best HP.

Medium body, creamy texture, medium bitterness that is lasting. puggy211 (596), cordova, Tennessee, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 21, 2009 Pours a dark gold with a good off-white head.
Hop based aroma.
The flavor of this one is harsh hop bitterness. This needs more malt to balance and a bit less bittering hops. lithy (1800), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 1, 2009 Growler thanks to nqualls. Red-orange, off white foam, nice lacing. Aroma is resinous, pine, some orange and citrus mixed in. The taste is more floral, oranges, grapefruit, citrus, then a light pine finish. The body itself is nice and full of caramels, toffee that lends a fruitiness. tronraner (1938), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 29, 2009 12 oz bottle much thanks to nqualls. Pours bold orange with lasting beige head. The aroma is fresh, dank hops all around... pot, orange, tangerine, lemon zest, grapefruit, a hint of taffee. The flavor is nice and orangey with some garlicky hop notes, hints of toast, and some dusty pine. The finish is just a touch of the watery side, but with an interesting spruce note. This is some good stuff. NachlamSie (1649), Tennessee, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Aug 29, 2009 Tronraner, you are the man. This beer is awesome. So intensely dank. I mean, marijuana, garlic, peppers, lots of evergreen just blowing up my nose. This beer smells amazing. The flavor delivers tons of hoppy bitter goodness on my palate. Lots of garlic bite with plenty of Christmas tree and peppers. This is one dank beer. It reminds me of Hopsickle’s little brother. BossHossBikes (147), Tennessee, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Aug 29, 2009 Bottle thanks to Tronraner. Pours a clear auburn with a nice beige head. The aroma is intense with grapefruit and pine with some grassy notes. The flavour starts a bit more tame than I expected but very quickly becomes more intense. It has tons of grassy notes as it sits on the tongue. As it passes, pine becomes evident as grapefruit starts to arise. A nice bitterness bites in the finish. This is really, really good.
