| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 1, 2009 Bottle thanks to Butters. Clear amber red with a loose off white foam. Light lacing. Nicely resinous aroma, bits of citrus. The taste is caramel, toffee, fruity apples, finish of more pine resin and a sturdy bitter finish. CaptBier (303), Birmingham, Alabama, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 30, 2009 Bottle. Aroma is perfect of nice citrus and pine. Pours the typical cloudy amber with thin white head. The taste just doesnt stand out. I think the hops blend too well and just cancel each other out to where all that is left is the resin flavor. Like I said, the aroma is great but the flavor is nothing special. nqualls (1428), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Glass:16 oz.
Appearance:Hazy red/amber pour with a half finger of tan head.
Aroma:Very fruity, with lemons and oranges.
Flavor:Caramel malt base with a grapefruit and astringent finish.
Palate:Medium body with solid carbonation.
Overall:A weird astringent thing, similar to 14 I think. Not their best.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 18, 2009 Bottle at woody’s. Pours a clear dark amber with sticky off white ring of head and lacing. Nose of caramel and citrus hops. Flavor is balanced earthy hops and earthen malts that quickly leaves a very bitter resiny finish. Good chewy body. Not the best hop project, but very nicely done. illinismitty (1800), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 7, 2009 Updated: Sep 29, 20094 Pak from Kroger. Pours a very nice reddish amber with a retentive ebony head. Aroma is of fruity esters and floral hops, almost like fruit loops cereal. Malt profile is similar to #19, caramel malts with some hints of toasted malts and nuts. Like the previous version, the hop bitterness has that leafy oregano and celery thing going on- which means this was released a tad early. Some hop varieties are not at their peak fresh. I am going to sit on the other three for about two weeks and get back to this. UPDATE: A few weeks to meld did not do this one any favors. This one’s sort of a dud. tnbrewrater (3), Alabama, USA does not count | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 6, 2009 Tasted in a sampler at the Yazoo taproom on 9/5/09.
I cant quite put my finger on it but this really didnt seem like a good effort. There wasnt much balance to this beer. It was bitter tart. Aroma was the usual suspects. Its like any other IPA, but not balanced. Barrios (861), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
