Beer_Hawk (759), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA Aug 19, 2008 Sampled at the 2008 Music City Brewers Fest. Orange with a lasting off-white head. Nice grapefruit aroma with some pine backing. Malty flavor with nice grapefruit and light pine flavors. Medium body and moderate bitterness throughout. Yazoo needs to just run with this one; it’s the best IPA in town if not the state/region. nqualls (422), Tennessee, USA Jul 28, 2008 Updated: Sep 14, 2008This beast was a hop bomb. Had on draft at the Music City Brewers Festival. Dark amber color with huge hop aroma. Flavor was almost overwhelmingly hoppy. Great beer.
KDorgan12 (162), Memphis, Tennessee, USA May 29, 2008 Draft-Nashville. The hops, oh the hops. I drank this at 2:30 PM and my taste buds were fried. The hops hit all sides of the tongue and even returned with some burps. What a great brew!!! kevd193213 (335), Coventry, Rhode Island, USA May 26, 2008 On tap during the brewery tour. Dark copper cloudy pour. Aroma of overpowering hops (in a good way). Taste of citrus hops with a sharp bitter finish. Wished they massed produced this, fantastic. allfreej (293), Louisville, Kentucky, USA May 3, 2008 On tap at Yazoo Brewing’s tap room in Nashville. Hops used in this version were Pilgrim, Millenium, and Simcoe, and the brewing included dry hopping. Poured a cloudy orange, with a nice tan head. Nose was grapefruit. Flavor was iniitally malty, finishing with a wonderful burst of hop flavor and a nicely bitter finish that was not astringent. No idea what the alcohol content was, but I was glad I was walking back to the hotel. I will go out of my way to visit again to sample more of the Hop Project series.
