Commercial Description:
The tan lace clings to the glass as you raise the pint to your lips. Close your eyes and smile as the rich espresso notes fade to a dry, roasted finish. Exceptionally smooth and satisfying. Made with English Pale malt, roasted barley, black patent malt, and flaked barley. Hopped with East Kent Goldings and Target hops, and fermented with our English ale yeast.

Opaque black pour with a thin tan head. Caramel and roasted malt aroma. Flavor is nutty with some dark coffee notes. Mostly dry with a touch of light, milky sweetness. Very good.

Sampled on nitro at the brewery. Deep mahogany pour with solid dark tan head. Aroma is roasty mocha. Flavor is nice up front, bitter coffee, lactic acidity, sweetness, with a dry finish. I found the body to be very watery though, despite the nitro.

Almost black pour with tight tan head and lace. (cask) Light chocolate malt on the nose. Powdery cocco flavor with a good hard/medium bitter. Thin and slightly water. A beer that had a bit of an ashy texture. Overall pretty good. I will try again not on cask.

Draft at the Nashville beer festival. Aroma was coffee and chocolate. Flavor was roasty with a dry finish. I would like a little more body in this beer.
