Nice amber colour wth decent lacing. The flavour’s a bit harsh, though, and the alcohol really shows. Wheat. Malt. Nice enough. Tmoney99 (4783), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

amber, thin head, sweet piny citrus aroma, big hoppy flavor on a slightly sweet carmel malt base, bitterness eventually takes over and leaves everything else to languish in the dust

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 23, 2007 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours with a copper body and tight off-white head that lasts till the end. Pleasant citrus aroma that is reflected in the taste without being just a hop-delivery-vehicle like many American ales. Good malty background for the hops. Finishes with a slightly unpleasant funky note that I can’t quite pin down. Better than "dos perros" though. puggy211 (595), cordova, Tennessee, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 16, 2007 Bottle fron Decaturstevo @ DLD, thanks Steve. Pours a slightly cloudy orange color with a small head that disappears quickly. The aroma has definite citrus notes with a a little bit of grass thrown in for good measure. Thin mouthfeel, it did follow 4 or so GL Lake Erie Monsters, with not much carbonation. The flavor had some bready citrus thing going on early, with a slightly spicey grass flavor in the finish.
