Soapy earthy aroma. While the flavor of this one has a lot going on, spice, tangerine, grapefruit, earthiness, it is a bit muddled overall. Semi-dry, medium body. This was an OK beer produced by a really nice brewer. Linus spent some time talking to me about his applications for Ammarilo hops. Good times. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA

Slightly grassy hops note, branch and bark-like, buttery, leafy nose with some gritty wheat and malt notes. Reminds me of SNPA at times. Dry and bitter throughout, with some grassy, piney flavors. Moderate thickness for a pale ale. Overall very refreshing and fruity, with proper bittering levels. Well made. Bottle purchased in Nashville. mojoman (44), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Nice aroma of earthy citrus hops and a touch of floral as well. Flavor is kind of disappointing though as not many of those hops find their way through. Light grainy flavor with lots of carbonation. Just a touch of the bitterness is there on the finish but not much. The carbonation in this really kills the flavor an leaves it tasting like soda. Not the generic hops n’ earth microbrew taste found in many pale ales, especially the less satisfying western brews. But it’s an acquired taste with a sharp edge to it, on the tart side of citrusy. Finish is clean, aftertaste minimal for a pale ale. This is a strong beer in it’s alcohol content.
