Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is citrusy and floral. A medium bodied Pale Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are citrusy and floral. Touch of lemon grass. Light and refreshing. Nice carbonation. Could be a godd session Pale Ale. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Braudog (3773), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 17, 2006 Tall draft at the Hard Rock in Nashville. This was yellow-orange with a thin but firm haed. It has a bright citrus aroma. There’s a sharp orange-ishness and tart. Tight finish. Pretty good. grat (433), ST. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 25, 2006 Ohh man was this dissapointing. Airport, Nashville, TN. It says Amarillo right on the tap handle. it might as well have said craparillo because this beer is nothing of what it advertizes. Old yellow stain colored pour. Nice head. Lacing. Maybe it’s not crap...smells like alcohol and mssive amounts of carbonation. Tickles the nose. Faint aroma of corn. the sweetness of this bounces off of the heavy carbonation to make something that tastes not unlike tonic water. Flavors are a reck. Zero hops. None. Bitterness is relegated solely to textures and their interplay. Poor form T2Tool (352), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 21, 2006 I am a big fan of Yazoo, since it is a local brewery in TN, however this is by far my least favorite beer they have. Have had at the brewhouse, on tap at local places and even tried buying a bottle since they recently started doing it. However, it just does not compare to the other styles available from this brewery. Aurelius (2654), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 21, 2006 Tart, somewhat muted aroma compared to their other beers. Clear, pinky-orange. Dry, moderately astringent. Medium body. Not their best offering. Some off flavors and smells. trafford (171), Germantown, Tennessee, USA

Linus was able to create a nice balance between malt and hops. The Amarillo gives a different flavor than other American Pale Ales. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 18, 2006 Tap. Transparent, magnifying copper in color with an oily, renegade ice sheaf forming a separated off-white wrung. Sweet, minor, bitter amarillo chords are ever present in the aroma, subjugated to a filtered baguette crust interruption. Sweet orange rind and papaya enzyme. Flakey lime-spritsed croissants. Some pineapple pulp and sugar-crusted grapefruit. Tallow flavor tendencies. Full-bodied bitterment seems inevitable, but it breaks before promising declarations can ensue, and countermands a Sunny D pulp derivative. Carbonation masks an ill-adjusted hop schedule. Lighter fairing, tossing wherever the tongue may choose to send it. Lemon acidity pipes more in the end. A valiant attempt that comes up short. droopy49 (97), Lancaster, California, USA
