Commercial Description:
A new version of an American classic. Our Yazoo Pale Ale bursts with spicy, citrusy hop aroma and flavor, coming from the newly discovered Amarillo hop. The wonderful hop aroma is balanced nicely with a toasty malt body, ending with a cleansing hop finish. Made with English Pale, Munich, Vienna, and Crystal malts, and generously hopped with Amarillo, Perle, and Cascade hops. Fermented with our English ale yeast.

a scaled down watered down ipa, not a pale ale. weak on the malt, watery. Earthy spicy hops, toasty slightly, but a bad aftertaste.

Draft, purchased at Nashville airport. Aroma of citrus (orange) hops and sweet malt. Appearance is light copper with a medium white head. Flavor is watery, weak for an APA. Aside from that, taste is mostly malty. Mediocre brew overall.

Pours clear gold with tiny white head. The aroma has malts, biscuit, citrus and more malts. Nice muted citrus aroma with fun malty notes. The taste has a modest pulse of citrus to start. It then moves quickly onto tasty malts, biscuit and mild roastiness. It ends with a moderate level of increasing citrus hop bitterness. Pretty full flavored and malty for a pale but also pretty darn enjoyable too.

Tap @ the 1st Annual Rocket City Brewfest. 08 may 09. Clear pale golden color. Sweet aroma of caramel malt extract. Nice aroma of citrus hops. Flavor is sweet malt. Nice calming bitterness of pine flavors and a bit of citrus. After their Hefe, this one is my fave.

golden orange color, thin white head, cascade nose, good hop presence in flavor, distinct amarillo flavor, mild hop citrus, well balanced against some 2-row, finishes dry, great pale, perfect for the south

Pours yellow. Sweet grainy biscuity aroma. Some citrus and flowery hops. Light caramel malt flavor, some pine and citrus. I could drink a few of these by the pool, not bad.

Bottle courtesy of fishingnet. Pours a golden yellow with thin white head. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of straw, wheat, yeast, bread, citrus and floral hops. Flavor is sweet and floral with notes of grass, light citrus, bread, hints of grapefruit. Generally light body with a slight hoppy finish.
