Commercial Description:
A new version of an American classic. Our Yazoo Pale Ale bursts with spicy, citrusy hop aroma and flavor, coming from the newly discovered Amarillo hop. The wonderful hop aroma is balanced nicely with a toasty malt body, ending with a cleansing hop finish. Made with English Pale, Munich, Vienna, and Crystal malts, and generously hopped with Amarillo, Perle, and Cascade hops. Fermented with our English ale yeast.

Sampled at Schlafly Repeal of Prohibition festival. Pours golden with a small white head. The aroma has toasty malt, floral hops and is very clean a crisp. Medium body that is also crisp with a light roughness to the body and sharp flowing carbonation. The flavor starts with dry caramel malt with light toast, a touch of biscuit and hops that are earthy, spicy and floral. The finish is hoppy, clean and nice.

12oz bottle. Shit... need my Tennessee rating, so here she goes. Aroma has a bit of citrus at first, but after a bit, it becomes a messy malt bomb. Some dough and bread crust. Seaweed, mushrooms and an odd cinnamon spiciness. Pours a hazed orange/amber with a sustained, frothy white head. Minimal hops on the palate. Plenty of off-flavored malt. More mushrooms, uncooked bread dough, soggy Cheerios. Ugh. Slick and oily body. Light carbonation with a vegetal finish. Thanks Tennessee!

From tronraner via trade. The pour was a standard clear copper color with a one-finger tall white head that produced decent lace. The aroma was on the sweet side, with graham cracker coming out along side some light pepper. Pine and floral hops came out eventually. Flavor was less sweet. More of a contrast between the peppery spices and the pine and floral hops. The mouthfeel was watery. A bit above average.

courtesy of fishingnet. pours light golden, thin white head. Aroma and taste, floral hops, with light malty undertone and grains. Easy drink, too one dimensional.

Thanks to the Tampa Tasting Group for sharing this. Pours clear gold with white head. Nose is caramel, grass, corn, hay, and bread. Flavor is similar with lingering bready finish. Hops throughout. Decent, but unremarkable light-medium bodied pale ale.

20090517 12oz bottle from Fresh Market in Huntsville, AL. Hazy tarnished golden with lasting white head. Citrus, lemon, pine aromas with light biscuit. Medium light body and eager eff. Lightly fruity but a bit bland. Fair piney hop bite at finish. Decent enough

A golden pour with a touch of amber. Nice off white one finger head of small bubbles. Aroma is pine and floral. Flavor is caramel, rye, floral. It is dry with an underlying tartness and a tart pine aftertaste. Grapefruit shows up late.
