Ran out of porters, so we moved on to whatever else was in the house. Pours a clear gold with a minimal white head. Dank and malty aroma that is overly acidic. Flavor is pretty much the same. Not a fan of this one. Dogbrick (2907), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 8, 2008 Sample at the Hopsnobbery Collective Porter tasting on 12/4/08: This brew is a clear orange color that has a rosy hue. Thin and fizzy white head that burns away quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma is hoppy with a touch of citrus. Medium-bodied with a flavor that is a case study in Amarillo hops, as that is more or less the only flavor aside from a bit of malt. The finish is clean and hoppy with a short hops and fruit aftertaste. Just average overall. jcr (1192), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 20, 2008 Draft. The hops in this APA are overshadowed by sweet malts. Copper/amber color with short, white head. The aroma is grainy with a hint of grass and lemon. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet. The finish is lightly bitter. Medium body and watery to sticky texture. Lively carbonation. Off-balance throughout.

Hoping this is the right two of their APAs. Clear deep yellow and a nice but thin frothy white head. Malty caramel and light malts. Some piney hops and a dry bite. Good APA. Re-rate on tap at the brewery. Clear yellow-orange with a thin soapy white foam. Basic caramel malt and light citrus hops. Taste is much the same. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 1, 2008 Bottle back from Nashville this last weekend. Smells of grass a little pine and some fruit. Flavor is more toasted grain/malt than hops but there is a bit of a metallic hop finish. Would like some much bigger hop flavors though. Pours a clear golden color with almost no head. nqualls (1428), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
