Commercial Description:
A new version of an American classic. Our Yazoo Pale Ale bursts with spicy, citrusy hop aroma and flavor, coming from the newly discovered Amarillo hop. The wonderful hop aroma is balanced nicely with a toasty malt body, ending with a cleansing hop finish. Made with English Pale, Munich, Vienna, and Crystal malts, and generously hopped with Amarillo, Perle, and Cascade hops. Fermented with our English ale yeast.

Cloudy honey color with a huge head. Fruity malt flavor, similar to an ESB. Some caramel, citrus and a good amount of spicy-sweet herbal hops. Sharp, dry finish. Not bad.

Bottle. Rosy-almond pour with a thin, foamy, off-white head with some lacing. Aromas of lemon, yeast, anise, and citrusy hops. Tastes a little sour, with lemony hops and bittersweet malt profile. Not my favorite pale ale.

Draft at Nashville airport. Golden color, clear, very small head. Balanced aroma combines fruity hops and malt. Flavor isn’t strong with peppery hop bite and a crisp, clean finish. Better than I expected.

Copper color with not much head. Nose of malts with subtle earthy and fruity notes. Complex malt taste with notes of fruit and subtle hints of spices. Tangy finish with whisps of spice. A lot of interesting complexity to the nose and the taste. Good. Balance of flavors seemed a little off, but a decent brew.

light foam head, hoppy with a citrus taste and moderate in body, bitter but not overpowering, slight after taste which is good, well balanced for a bottle beer

Gold with a thin white head. Lightly hoppy aroma and taste. Clean and fairly well balanced, but really not much to it. It was an ok beer.

Draft-Nashville. Poured a solid amber and the citrusy amarillo hops bursting with every bubble. Malty finish and filling for a pale ale.

Slightly hazy amber. Fruity hops nose (blackcurrant, plum, pear). Fresh hop taste is woody, lightly fruity. Bitterness is moderate. Malts are mostly pale, slightly toasty. The finish is dry, lingering long on the tongue with hop.
