Commercial Description:
A new version of an American classic. Our Yazoo Pale Ale bursts with spicy, citrusy hop aroma and flavor, coming from the newly discovered Amarillo hop. The wonderful hop aroma is balanced nicely with a toasty malt body, ending with a cleansing hop finish. Made with English Pale, Munich, Vienna, and Crystal malts, and generously hopped with Amarillo, Perle, and Cascade hops. Fermented with our English ale yeast.

Draught during the brewery tour. Golden copper pour with thin white head. Aroma of salt and flowery hops. Taste of hops and a hint of vanilla. Great finish, not sure why this doesn’t get more love.

Orange to copper in color this poured a head of fine white bubbles. There were aromas of sweet & sour sauce, caramel and citrus. In the mouth it was medium-bodied with a sweet and sour edge running through the midpalate. The finish is a bit watery with a sour dryness.

Bottle, special procurement. Orange-amber with small white head. Some apples, pears in the nose. Good balanced body with clean mild hop in the finish. Some coppery and brassy elements from the malts. Good overall.

Draft at The Flying Saucer. Amber, thin head, sweet piny citrus aroma, big hoppy flavor on a slightly sweet caramel malt base.

Gold and lightly hazy with a thin head. Aroma is a lot like an EPA. Some toasted malt, English malts, light spicy hops, and maybe a little citrus. Flavors of toasted malts, English malts, caramel, some mild citrus, lemon, some sweet fruity malt. Finishes a little spicy and pretty clean. Nothing special, but well done and drinkable.

Bottle from SpringsLicker. Pours gold with thin white head. The aroma is lemon, orange zest, and spicy grain. Flavor is spicy and zest with a malt profile similar to Honey Nut Cheerios. Warm, soft bitterness in the finish. Ok beer.

This beer pours a copper color with a light white head. Some good lacing on this if I might add. The aroma is more in the EPA than APA mold. I get a lot of caramel with some citrus and dark fruit. The flavor is rather malty and similar to an ESB with some caramel, lemons, and hints of grapefruit. This is not amazing but works as a session beer for sure.

This is a local beer that I get often. I thought I liked it more than my rating shows. Light floral and piney aroma. Flavor is the same with a piney finsh. Doesn’t burst with flavor like some other pale ales to me.
