BDR (1900), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Mar 28, 2008 Thanks to skyview for sharing. Strong citrus hop aroma, predominately grapefruit. Hazy gold color with white head. Enough malt to balance the hops, but not too sweet and very hoppy. Guerde (489), Welcome, Minnesota, USA Feb 2, 2008 (growler from Skyview) This is a solid Pale Ale. Pours cloudy amber with a white head. Really nice hoppy aroma, with a lot of grapefruit peel and orange showing up. Taste is bitter, but some sweetness is there to balance it out too. The finish is a nice interplay between grain and hops. Thick mouthfeel. JK (2479), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA Jan 30, 2008 One of the best American pale ales I have had. Intense hop aroma. Very flavorful, and a full bodied hop flavor with some sweet malt. The hops are intense. Some fruit and a little pine. LawStudent09 (319), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA Jan 24, 2008 Delicious. Growler courtesy of Skyview. This is one of the best pale ales I have had. A hazy golden pour with a finger thick whitish head. Citrusy hop aroma (orange or orange peel) as well as a floral aroma. The taste was great. Some tropical fruitiness as well as citrus as in the aroma. Slightly malty flavor as well but more hops than anything else. Great beer! joebrew (608), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA Jan 24, 2008 Thanks to Skyview for sharing. Very citrusy hops that shine with tangerine and orange flavors. There is a hint of pineyness as well as some soft tropical fruits and biscuity malt. A really nice balanced APA.
