This pours to a reddish orange color with a medium off-white head and good lacing. Aroma was not real strong, but what was there was some malt with a hint of hops. Flavor was tasty, but again, nothing real dominant. Had a nice smooth finish. While this medium-bodied beer did not wow me with any one flavor or taste, all and all it was a good beer, and one that I could see as a session beer, especially with its low 4/1% abv. joergen (8638), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Medium body with a sweet malty flavor. Finishes clean, despite the sweetness. Numenor (869), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 18, 2006 Golden body with a light tan head. Very light malt aroma, some caramel is present. Clean taste, light malts with some light fruits such as cherry and apple. A very nice session beer overall, and one that I’d rank above normal American Swill by far. peter (385), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 7, 2006 Healthy head atop clear amber body. Nose is very dusty with some fruity esters (orange). The flavour is dominated by the pollen quality of the fuggles. Fairly thin in the mouth. Soapy finish. kenb (1101), Oregon, USA

Nice head that dissaptes soon leaving a 1/2" head that sticks around. Very little lace. Light malty aroma, a little citrus. Taste is very smooth. Not much body. Not much hoppiness. I think perhaps this is too smooth fir being a Bitter. Not a bad beer, but not remarkable. Would be an ok beer as a seesion beer or to serve to macro swill drinkers at a bbq :=)

A tasty, well made Ale ! LearninBeer (210), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 15, 2006 The aroma is a slight toasted nuuty smell. The appearance is a dark amber that can be seen through clearly. The flavor is a light bitter and finishes that way. The body is light and watery. The head is off white mostly diminishing and the lacing is good. An OK beer.
