Jan 4, 2006 Smell was tea like and of caramel, with some floral hops. Had a beautiful dark amber body with a beige head. Taste was well balanced, fruity yeast character, sweet maltiness, and a spicy bitterness. The aftertaste was a bit astringent, which I didnt care for. But overall, a pleasant beer, and great for session drinking.

Dec 22, 2005 Pours a medium brown with red hues. Aromas of hops, malts, and a slight nose of nuts. Flavor is hoppy, with a sweet malt taste. Was watery towards the end.

Dec 9, 2005 Bottled. Pours a ruby brownish color. Aroma is of caramel and lightly roasted malts. Mildly roasted flavor. A bit thin tasting. Has a bitter finish. Not bad, but then again nothing to write home about here.

Dec 3, 2005 Bottle. Pours clear and light brown with minimal head. Butterscotch aroma with musty dank ale. Lightly sweet and carmelly, finishing quick. Not much in the way of body or hop character. Fairly thin.

Nov 27, 2005 Balanced aromas of crystal malt and pine. Beer is dark amber and clear, brilliant in the glass. No head, however, after the brew settles. Tasting is true to the aromas, with hops and malts in pretty equal proportion. Both aroma and taste, however, are light. Beer is smooth and could use a lot more in the way of carbonation.
