Boring nothingness. Bought it for my brother (Richard) awhile ago - should’ve tasted it then, then I wouldn’t have so much to drink. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Apr 27, 2005 16.9 oz bottle from Mr. Liquor. Pours Newcastle brown with a creamy, lasting head. Nice lacing throughout the glass. Aromas of caramel and marshmallows. Taste was a little thin and metallic. Maltiness and metal were what I got most out of it. The finish was smooth, but lacking. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 24, 2005 Copper-red in color, small tan head with lots of lacing. Not much nose, maybe a little dust-like with a light hint of malt... Some skunkiness, but I attribute that to a long wait on the store shelf. Watery malt and caramel flavors, with a slightly oily mouthfeel. Average. JFGrind (1353), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 24, 2005 With the low alcohol content I thought this beer would be a mild. Small hop presence, it was my St. George’s Day closeout. frankenkitty (1903), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 15, 2005 This ale started with a four-finger, creamy head that lasted in a hearty dollop above a fairly flat, clear, coppery body. Weak, stale aromas: could be malty, could be hoppy... hard to tell. Thin yet smooth, with unremarkable malted flavor. I may prefer my dicks to be dirtier.

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 12, 2005 Bottled. Dark copper coloured, huge foamy longlasting beige head, lacing. A bit skunky nose with hints of roast and honey. Smooth flavour which is a bit fruitish at first but then turns pretty skunky. Dry finish and bitter aftertaste. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 12, 2005 Good hops nose, light color, decent head. The flavor was excellent: mild and smooth, with a touch of bitterness. I thoroughly enjoyed this, but I don’t know if I’d put it in my top ten. JFURYCAT (791), East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 9, 2005 I detected a smooth reddish beer with some malty-amber undertones but not overly complex. I didn’t mind drinking it but it didn’t ask me to come back for more. The bottle was slightly overpriced even though the beer wasn’t bad. If you like amber beers this one won’t disappoint. I would recommend this one as a starter beer for Killian’s fans who desire something different.
