Decent (I thought this was a brown ale, especially from the name) It did contain decent bitterness and a typical nice English malt character with a little of that applejuice vibe and some hops mixed in there.Nothing special, but still pretty nice.Pleasant deep amber color.

Like the creamy head on top of the copper color. The malt outdoes the hops sofaras aroma and flavor are concerned. This ale slides down nicely, leaving a clean, refreshed palate. Very good.

Pours copper with a big, creamy, white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, slight puke. Tastes malty, with some dry caramel in the finish. Medium palate, and a dry, caramel, brown, malty finish.

28 May 2004 - Malty sweet fruit hop aroma. Clear brown orange colour, excellent head retentio, with a cream coloured head. Starts slightly sweet and changes to a dry finish, some nutty flavours. Too fizzy, lingering complex finish and a slight bitter finish.

A very nice smooth bitter. A nice tawny color with a floral head and a mellow body. Great for serving at dinner or simply having while chillin on the couch.

Poured red/brown with a nice white head...smells sweet and malty...tasted very sweet and malty with a crisp bitter finish...I don’t have a lot to say on this beer...not a great beer, but a good bitter..I’d go Fuller’s before this though (if you held a gun to my head or something)...

Light brown/dark orange. Nice head. Malty aroma. Nice malt flavors, some caramel with a hint of hops at the finish. Modest alcohol%-would be a good session beer.
