The bartender told me that it would be in a big bottle. I responded with "I can handle it". The bartender then said "So you can handle a dirty dick." My girlfriend thought that was funny. Interesting experience, interesting beer.

Clear amber with light aroma of English hops. Slight maltiness and low to moderate hop bitterness. Quaffable but not as delectable as other young's brews.

Drank from bottle. Chocolate taste and a bit malty. Very easy to drink as well. Would recommend giving a it try!

Pours a clear, dark copper color with a medium sized off-white head. It has a very light, malty aroma. Medium body with medium carbonation, it has a fuller flavor than the aroma would leave you to believe. The flavor is malty up front, with a strong hoppiness that begins to show itself near the finish. The finish is hoppy and mildly bitter. Nice bitter ale.

nice dark copper with a pleasant malt aroma, very easy drinking but generally unremarkable. a bit of a disappointment, compared to the other beers I had from Youngs.

Brown with a thin head. Taste is sweeter than I expect from a bitter. Gets sweeter as it warms. A little more bitter taste in the finish.

Looked more like a cream soda than a beer. Nice taste of floral hops, caramel, and malt, sour and bitter finish. Thin in the mouth. Not a bad brown ale, and with low alcohol it makes an easy drinking beer. Nothing special, but not bad.

I had hoped this beer's depth of flavor would match that of its very nice color but, alas, it was not to be. It's nice, all around, but certainly nothing spectacular.
