The bartender then said "So you can handle a dirty dick." My girlfriend thought that was funny. Interesting experience, interesting beer. brewbandit (312), Marietta, Georgia, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 6, 2003 Pours a clear, dark copper color with a medium sized off-white head. It has a very light, malty aroma. Medium body with medium carbonation, it has a fuller flavor than the aroma would leave you to believe. The flavor is malty up front, with a strong hoppiness that begins to show itself near the finish. The finish is hoppy and mildly bitter. Nice bitter ale. bubslang (438), Kentwood, Michigan, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 18, 2003 Brown with a thin head. Taste is sweeter than I expect from a bitter. Gets sweeter as it warms. A little more bitter taste in the finish. WISEGUY572 (1246), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 16, 2003 Looked more like a cream soda than a beer. Nice taste of floral hops, caramel, and malt, sour and bitter finish. Thin in the mouth. Not a bad brown ale, and with low alcohol it makes an easy drinking beer. Nothing special, but not bad. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 11, 2003 I had hoped this beer's depth of flavor would match that of its very nice color but, alas, it was not to be. It's nice, all around, but certainly nothing spectacular.
