| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 10, 2006 The head on this ale is the most interesting thing about it. The dense, drizzling foam has a filmy skin on the top reminiscent of boiling potatoes. The color is of clover honey, or a watered-down Coke...I can’t decide which. The pleasant apple cider nose is unfortunately disappointed by a bland taste that is much too similar to Pabst. A final hint of pleasant hops cannot compensate for the hideous base flavor of cheap beer. To it’s credit, Dirty Dick’s improves with warmth and oxygenation. The cider flavors continue to emerge over time as the Pabst crawls away. Overall, something I wouldn’t want to drink again. gunnfryd (3590), Kristiansand, Norway

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 30, 2006 500ml bottle. Golden red body with a thin head. A little hint of chocolate in aroma, otherwise rather discreet fume. Flavor is well balanced, but quite ordinary. Not much bitterness either makes this to anonymous. Rather watery mouth feel. Not totally bad, but not a great ale. Bockyhorsey (2528), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 29, 2006 Bottle: Good malted medium sweet caramel. Hazy caramel body with dirty white head. Good caramel and nuty flavors. Medium to full bodyied beer the bitter you could tell was trying to break though the malt for a little kick. Leaves a good sweet nutty/malt aftertaste on the palate which was good. Good brew too bad couldn’t of had a full bottle but thanks to Turbo for sharing. turbo (1254), Arizona, USA

Flavor is caramel, nuts, with a smooth roasty chocolate taste on the palate.
Creamy sweet finish.
