Dark black color with a nice creamy tan head. Pleasant aroma of chocolate, coffe and a mild touch of dark roasted malt. Great smooth and rich flavor of roasted malt and loads of milky chocolate. Everything is in perfect balance. This is a real pleasure.

Bought this even though i was told to avoid should have listened. Worst chocolate stout i have run into, thank god it was not expensive. Too milky/watery.

Pours black with a two finger tan head. Flavor is roasted malt with a huge chocolate presence in the finish. Medium carbonation and a little watery.

This is a delicious beer. It is so smooth, so dark and oh so chocolatey. It is a great dessert beer. I don’t know if I could have this with a meal, but I think it would be an incredible compliment to a nice piece of chocolate cake or maybe in a float. I am glad you can find it everywhere.

Bomber. My first from Bedfordshire. Pours dark mahogany with a foamy 2 finger tan head that results in spotty lacing. The nose is roasted malt and dark chocolate. The taste is roasted malt, cocoa and baker’s chocolate with some milk chocolate in the background. Medium creamy mouthfeel. Pretty good stout. Not as sweet as I thought it was going to be which is a plus.

Bottle. Deep, deep brown coloured with a creamy, lasting, lacing cappuccino coloured head. Aromas of chocolate, malts and some coffee. Coffee with sugar, cream and chocolate. Flavour is sweet at first but the finish is dry. Notes of coffee, chocolate and some licorice.

only my second chocolate stout, but its definitely a keeper. Dark color, nice head. Good chocolate and molasses aroma and the taste follows through, with a bitter finish. Its a bit sweet, but good for a savory sipper. I split one 500ml bottle with 5 people and we were all satisfied at the end.

Almost black beer with big brown head. Aroma is pleasant: sweet chocolate and roasted malts. Flavour is quite roasted and surprisingly, almost dry in the end and hint of cholate is still found. Balanced and nice to drink. Young’s Double Chocolate Stout is balanced beer but maybe chololate could have been even more present. Anyway, now chocolate is a spice and it won’t take all attention; there are strong know-how behind this beer.
