hallinghansen (263), Odense SV, Denmark Jan 11, 2009 Black body with a medium lightbrown creamy head. It looks beautiful. Aroma is chocolate, a bit coffee. Flavor is milch chocolate with a light bitter aftertaste. It is creamy in the mouth, the carbonation is a bit to flat for me. Rustyham (545), miami, Florida, USA Jan 11, 2009 Updated: Jan 18, 2009Not as Chocoaltey as you would imagine, but good. It pours like you hoo and has a beautiful cascading nitrogen-infused head. It is really smooth, pretty much like a chocalty Guiness. TrefwoordPunk (549), Leiden, Netherlands Jan 8, 2009 Bottle 50 cl. Pours a muddy black with a small tan head, reverse bubbles and an aroma of chocolate, cream and buttercookies. The taste is pretty sweet for a stout, with a soft, creamy mouthfeel. Their are hints of dark chocolate, black coffee, caramel, brown sugar and sweet malts. The finish is nice bitter, I really like this. hrking (108), Muncie, Indiana, USA Jan 7, 2009 I’ve had this on draft nitro keg man I love the reverse cascade bubbles in the glass. The only other beer ive seen do that was Guiness.BRILLIANT ..Tons of flavor and very smooth and creamy chocolate abound the palate. Im glad this is available at the local brew pub and I have made a session. I really like the malt base they used on this everything seems to blend for awesome balance. This is a great beer by all measures. But of coarse im a stout head! Cheers. MatSciGuy (627), Rosemount, Minnesota, USA Jan 5, 2009 [Bottle] at a blind tasting.
