Aug 24, 2008 Updated: Sep 19, 2008(Bottle). Pronounced chocolate and cafe au lait aroma. Black color with bubbly tan head. Flavor is outrageously rich milk chocolate and mocha. Not overly sweet exactly, but very very rich, overpoweringly so. A dessert unto itself. Yes, it’s delicious, but for me a few sips were enough.

Aug 23, 2008 Updated: Jul 29, 2009Pours an incredible opaque black. A thick creamy head forms upon pouring and it laces the glass well. Has aromas of sweet chocolate and roated malts. The chocolate comes out beautifully in the flavor and also tastes of roasted malts. A very fine chocolate stout.

Aug 22, 2008 0,5lt Can found at Kvickly in Herning. A very nice black coloer with medium brown head. Roasted malty with dominating dark chocolate aromas and flavor. Very very enjyable I wish I could have this regularly in Greece

Aug 22, 2008 50cl Bottle from Cracked Kettle. Deep dark brown with a tan creamy head. Yummy sweet aroma of chocolate indeed, roasted malts. Flavour is bittersweet dark chocolate, bitter roasted malts, small amount of coffee. Bitter finish. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel, albeit a bit thin. Very good stuff!

Aug 21, 2008 Bottle. The aroma is fantastic from the pop of the top all the way until the last drop. The beer can be a bit too much if you partake in more then one bottle. Very accessible, very affordable, overall quite good sweet stout.

Aug 19, 2008 500ml from Total Wine, Durham. I actually don’t know if I’ve ever had this beer before. Absolutely splendid pour with a nice dimpled head. Nose is creamy milk chocolate, and the taste is refreshingly understated. The sweet notes don’t overpower the relative complexity of the malts but are integrated into the overall smoothness of the brew. Some hops in there but only faintly detectable, and the beer’s a bit thin. Enjoyable nonetheless.
