Can. Prettiest pour ever. Light chocolate brown descends and becomes a darker brown with a thick thick, foamy light tan head (so much prettier than Guinness haha). Aroma of nice bitter chocolate, tootsie roll. Flavor of lots of bitter chocolate. Creamy mouthfeel, although slightly watery. One of the best chocolate beers out there. An old favorite of mine...you can’t go wrong with this one.

Bottle. Dark, almost black color with a brown remaining foam. Slightly burnt, roasted malt aroma with some chocolate. Roasted flavour with notes of dark chocolate and malty sweetness followed by a decent bitterness. Palate is very smooth and nice.

Intense! A brooding dark chocolate colour. Rich enough palate with the dark chocolate holding up the middle, with the milk chocolate softening out the finish. This is a supping beer to savour!

Bottle, pours a dark brown color with a thin tan head. Nice chocolate flavor mild roastiness. Very little hops, a decent brew and a nice tasty stout.

Pours a dark black color with a thin tan head that sits on the top. There is also some long tan streaks left along the sides of the glass. The nose is of fresh coco powder with some bitter hops. The initial flavor is of lush chocolate that resembles chocolate bar with a bitter hop finish. I like the smooth texture and how the carbonation is just right. Overall it has a great flavor with a smooth finish.

Bottle. Pours Black with white head. Smell of malt and Chocolate. Nice taste and fine aftertaste. Beats the living crap out of that pirate stout I had.

Displays a deep dark brown body with substantial tan coloured head. Aromas of milk chocolate, hazelnut and a touch of vanilla. Flavours are more of the same, but as with most stouts, it’s all about the mouth feel. Rich and but not quite viscous enough, comes across a tad thin. Dark chocolate and highly kilned malts add a bittersweet finish. Quite novel.

I’ve never had this from a bottle, onle from a widget-containing nitro can. Creates a creamy, smooth mouth feel. Outstanding smooth milk chocolate flavor. Drinkable and enjoyable. Smooth is the best word for this beer.
